Hawks re-interview Johnson, Casey

The Atlanta Hawks apparently really like the look of the Dallas Mavericks because the team has apparently has had second interviews with former Mavs coach Avery Johnson and current Dallas assistant coach Dwane Casey, according to ESPN. Casey reportedly had his second interview yesterday with some of the team’s ownership group. Johnson did the same last week

No Hornets offer to Thibodeau yet

Reports came yesterday that the New Orleans Hornets had made an offer to Boston Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau to take over the head-coaching spot that’s open in the Big Easy, but Hornets GM Jeff Bower tells the New Orleans Times-Picayune that no such offer has been made . "The New Orleans Hornets have not made a formal offer to any candidates involved in the process to hire a head coach,” Bower said in a statement.
